The newly constructed Xuvihe Sub-Centre building was inaugurated on June 2, 2025, by Chief Medical Officer Dr T Temsu Longkumer, in the presence of Thungchanbemo Tungoe, Chief Executive Officer, Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC). The building was constructed under the 15th Finance Commission.

In his inaugural speech, Dr Temsu expressed his gratitude to the Urban Development Department, DMC, and the Xuvihe Council for their collective efforts in making the Sub-Centre building a reality. He also stated that the Sub-Centre is expected to receive additional funds under the 16th Finance Commission for the procurement of essential items to support its operations and upkeep.

Thungchanbemo Tungoe clarified that although the 15th Finance Commission fund was originally intended for repair and renovation, the Sub-Centre was previously functioning from a rented commercial space. Recognizing the need for a proper facility, the fund was sensibly utilized to construct a new building, comprising two rooms and toilets. He commended the Xuvihe Council for their foresight and practical use of the resources.
