The Kiphire District Congress Committee (DCC) held a general meeting on 21st September, 2024, at the residence of its president. The meeting saw the presence of all DCC officials, organisational bodies, frontal wings, and Area Congress Committee Congress (ACCC) members.
The DCC President warmly welcomed the new members who joined the party and assured to work together in strengthening the Indian National Congress (INC), a party that stands firmly for secularism and the inclusive growth of all sections of society. He expressed confidence that their collective efforts would further the cause of a united and secular India.
During the meeting, the members resolved to fill all vacant positions within the DCC organisation, Frontals and expedite the formation of Area Congress Committees (ACC) and Village Congress Committees (VCC) to ensure better organisational structure. Additionally, a strong emphasis was placed on launching the digital membership drive at full scale to increase party membership and engagement across the district.
The meeting concluded with a unified commitment to work towards strengthening the party at the grassroots level.
