The Nagaland Health Protection Society (NHPS), Health & Family Welfare Department, Nagaland provided the following information regarding the recent flagging of 12 hospitals in Nagaland in connection with irregularities identified over the years under the policy provisions and guidelines of the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) and Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS).

Of the 12 hospitals identified, 10 are empaneled Government Hospitals and 2 are empaneled Private Hospitals.

The NHPS reiterated its commitment to ensuring transparency, accountability, and strict adherence to the prescribed guidelines under AB PM-JAY and CMHIS. Appropriate action is being taken in accordance with established policies and procedures to safeguard the interests of beneficiaries and ensure that the schemes continue to deliver quality, accessible healthcare services to the people of Nagaland.
