Niuland district administration felicitates HSLC & HSSLC toppers

Niuland District Administration in collaboration with the District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW), BBBP Niuland, felicitated the HSLC & HSSLC Girl Toppers of 2026 at the DC’s Conference Hall, Niuland, under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) scheme on June 20.

While gracing the program, Deputy Commissioner Niuland, TL Kiusumong Tikhir, congratulated the toppers for their outstanding academic achievement and lauded their parents and teachers for their support. He underscored that the success of girl children is central to the progress of the district and reiterated the Administration’s commitment to ensuring quality education, safety, and equal opportunities for girls under BBBP. He urged the toppers to remain role models and inspire other young girls in the district.

District Project Officer, DHEW, TY Peter Yanthan, in his welcome address, highlighted the objectives of BBBP and the initiatives undertaken by DHEW Niuland, while Kitoshi Z Swu, Sub-Divisional Education Officer, Niuland, exhorted the gathering and emphasized the role of education in transforming lives and communities.

A total of 5 girl toppers from HSLC and HSSLC 2026 examinations were felicitated with certificates and gift hampers.

The event witnessed participation from District Administration officials, DHEW staff, parents, teachers, students, Sumi Totimi Loka (STL) and Niuland Area Students Union (NASU).

The programme was chaired by, S. Boloka Jimo, SFL, DHEW while Neisiezo Theunuo, EAC Niuland delivered the vote of thanks.
