The NNC/FGN has impeached its Kedallo (Vice President) Zhopra Vero over attempts to overthrow government and financial misappropriation.

A press release issued by the Ministry of Rali Wali Affairs/MIP, Federal Government of Nagaland today stated that the Kedahge (President) Brig. (Retd) S. Singnya convened an Emergency meeting on  October 22 (Directive issued on 15^th October, 2024) at Sanglao village, Eastern Oking to deliberate the present issues with all the council of Kilonsers, Regional Midan Peyus and high Ranking Naga Army Officers.

After thorough discussion, the house unanimously took the following decisions:-

1. Basing on the Article 22 and 28 in the Yehzabo of Nagaland (NNC/FGN), Zhopra Vero, Kedallo was hereby impeached. No provision in the Yehzabo that supports neither the Kedallo (vice president) to impeach Kedahge (President) nor the Speaker of the Tatar Hoho to convene the emergency Tatar Hoho. Therefore, NNC/FGN declares the press and media statement that appeared on 22^nd October, 2024 as null and void.
2. Zhopra Vero campaigned to overthrow the government. He clandestinely tried to claim/sat the position of Kedahge and also played a game of hide and seeks politics to remove the honorable Mr. Senka Ao from the position of President NNC.

3. 3. Zhopra Vero was impeached twice while he was holding the post of Joint Secretary by the NNC/FGN (Chedema Peace Campers,) and secondly by the Chakhesang Region from the post of Regional President, NNC and thirdly impeached by the NNC/FGN government under the leadership of Brig. (Retd) S. Singnya.

4. Zhopra Vero has become a problem creator/trouble maker of the day within the NNPGs by colluding and feeding the wrong information with others without consulting the council of Kilonsers with the habit of one man one government.
5. The financial misappropriation issue of Zhopra Vero was enormous during the past 15 years (till date) of additional charge, Ministry of Chaplee Affairs with no proper accountability and transparent development in the government.”
