NPCC protests Amit Shah’s remarks on Dr Ambedkar’s legacy

Kohima: NPCC reaffirms commitment to uphold values envisioned by Dr. Ambedkar

The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) organized a peaceful protest demonstration at Congress Bhavan, Kohima, on 19th December 2024 against Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s insulting remarks towards Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s legacy.

In a press release, the Communications Department, NPCC, informed that members of the NPCC, Kohima DCC, and various frontals actively participated in the protest, “showing unity and determination to safeguard the ideals of justice, equality, and democracy enshrined in the Constitution.”

“The NPCC considers Dr. Ambedkar’s legacy as the foundation of our democracy and any insult to it is an insult to every Indian,” Nagaland Congress said. The NPCC further reaffirmed its commitment to uphold the values envisioned by Dr. Ambedkar and called on citizens to join the fight against any attempt to undermine them.
