The National People’s Party (NPP) Nagaland has congratulated James K Sangma, National Working President of the National People’s Party, on being elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha from Meghalaya and said this significant achievement reflects the confidence and respect that Shri James K. Sangma commands across the political spectrum.

The NPP said as the National Working President, Sangma has been actively and diligently overseeing party affairs, strengthening the organization, guiding party units across the country, and contributing immensely to the growth and consolidation of the National People’s Party.

NPP Nagaland expressed confidence that James K Sangma would be a strong and effective voice for Meghalaya, the Northeast, and the aspirations of the people in the Upper House of Parliament and his vast experience and deep understanding of governance and public policy would greatly enrich the proceedings of the Rajya Sabha.

The NPP Nagaland family wished him continued success and prayed that Almighty God grants him wisdom, strength, and good health as he undertakes this important national responsibility.
