NSCN-IM General Secretary Th Muivah landed in New Delhi on Tuesday afternoon in a private chartered plane to resume talks with the GoI representative A K Mishra.

Th Muivah’s visit to New Delhi and his participation in the talks are being seen as a significant development and have also raised hopes for a possible breakthrough in the decades old pending Indo-Naga political issue.

After months of stalemate, the NSCN-IM and GoI had resumed talks on 21 September. The delegation was led by NSCN-IM leader V S Atem.
