NTA announces details for CUET – PG and UG 2024

New Delhi: Candidates urged to carefully check details of the programmes offered by universities and eligibility requirements

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the dates for Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission to Postgraduate programmes and Undergraduate programmes 2024 in Central Universities under the Ministry of Education, and other participating Universities / Institutions / Organizations / Autonomous Colleges.

CUET (PG) 2024

NTA has announced that CUET (PG) will be conducted from 11 March 2024 to 28 March 2024 in CBT (Computer Based Mode) throughout India and in 24 cities outside India.

The test is proposed to be held in 44 shifts in total. Each shift will be for 105 minutes duration. The examination will be conducted for 157 subjects for 4,62,589 unique registered candidates and they will be administered 7,68,389 tests. Candidates were given an option for choosing a maximum of 4 Test Papers / subjects.

City Intimation Slip for the examination will be hosted on the website https://nta.ac.in and https://pgcuet.samarth.ac.inabout seven days before the date of examination.

CUET (UG)

The test that provides a single window opportunity to students seeking admission in any of the Central Universities (CUs) or other participating organizations (including State Universities, Deemed and Private Universities) across the Country will be held between 15 May and 31 May, the National Testing Agency has informed.

In Nagaland, the examination will be conducted in two centres – Kohima and Dimapur.

It also said that the Academic Session 2024-25, CUET (UG) – 2024 will be conducted in the Hybrid mode (Computer-Based Test (CBT) / Pen & Paper).

The CUET (UG) – 2024 will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu, the Agency has said.
