The Nagaland Transperancy Public Rights Advocacy & Direct Action Organisation (NTPRADAO), in a public notice on November 9, has expressed shock on a viral media statement wherein it was stated that, the NTPRADAO is satisfied with the PHED clarifications and the allegations against the department stands withdrawn with immediate effect.
“It was purportedly signed on 1st November, 2024 by one person named Mr. Richard Humtsoe with a sd/by the organisation President Mr. Phemching Konyak.
The NTPRADAO distances itself from such a vested and self-serving statement by the concern miscreants; of which the organisation and president are not at all involved. Investigation is currently ongoing, and through some reliable sources, it is being enlightened that some top PHED officials are directly involved in the drafting and circulation of the said statement,” stated the NTPRADAO.
However, the Organisation has mentioned that it shall soon file an FIR against Richard Humtsoe and the concern miscreants for misusing the organisation’s name. “The seal was also duplicated, and even the date in the round seal was mentioned a future date, i.e., 18th Nov. 2024,” stated the organisation.

“For public consumption, NTPRADAO makes it known that as per Indian law, the punishment for defamation. — Whoever defames another shall be punished with simple imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both,” added the Organisation.
The NTPRADAO further clarified that Richard Humtsoe is not a member of NTPRADAO, nor is he an Advisor in NTPRADAO or associated with the a’tivities of NTPRADAO in any manner. The NTPRADAO has no links directly or indirectly with Richard Humtsoe, asserted the organisation.
