The Nagaland University Non-Teaching Staff Association (NUNTSA) will organise its one-day Annual Sports Meet on October 14 at the university headquarters in Lumami to promote physical fitness, teamwork, camaraderie and unity among non-teaching employees.
The sports meet will feature a range of indoor and outdoor activities, including badminton, volleyball, chess, football, carrom and penalty shoot-outs, along with other games. Non-teaching staff members from different sections and departments are expected to participate in a spirit of healthy competition, cooperation and sportsmanship.
For the event, participants have been divided into four teams—Milak, Zungki, Doyang and Dikhu—which will compete in various sporting disciplines. The initiative aims to provide staff members an opportunity to showcase their sporting talents while strengthening interpersonal relationships and fostering a sense of belonging within the university community.
