The Brig. (Retd) S. Singnya led NNC/FGN has expressed gratitude to the top leaders of WC/NNPGs for their decision in accepting P. Puthai Lam, Killo Kilonser, as the new official Co-convener to represent on behalf of NNC/FGN to WC/NNPGs in place of Zhopra Vero following his impeachment on 22nd October, 2024 and non-inclusion of Zhopra Vero led splinter group under the banner of WC/NNPGs, informed a press release by the Ministry of Rali Wali Affairs Federal Government of Nagaland
“Basing on the Working Committee, Naga National Political Groups (WC/NNPGs) resolutions/minutes of the meeting adopted on 30th October, 2024 clearly indicates that Zhopra Vero led was a self-styled group with no political future for the Nagas and no legal entity to drive monetary fund through taxes/donations/contributions. This splinter group is being trying to tarnish the good image of Brig. (Retd) S. Singnya led NNC/FGN who hid behind the curtain and collecting taxes by way of intimidation to taxpayers in the name of NNC/FGN government,” stated the press release.

The NNC/FGN, therefore, reiterated its earlier statement to taxpayers and Naga people in general not to be confused.
“In matters of any financial transactions that made to splinter group without the knowledge of NNC/FGN will be doing at your own risk. “A servant cannot expel his master from his own master; instead, the servant must leave from his master’s place and search a new place to hibernate”, or else his master would take any decree at his own will upon him,” asserted the statement.
