To support the initiative, PDAA is equipping participating schools with essential training gear, including Two buttresses, Two bow sets, and Two target faces of 80cm and 122cm.
This is not the first time PDAA has taken steps to advance archery in the district. In 2022, the association collaborated with DLCW-Mahila Shakti Kendra (BBBP) and the District Administration to conduct a free coaching camp at Chozuba Government Higher Secondary School, which produced medal-winning archers at the Nagaland Olympic, North East Olympic, and National Archery Championships. With this renewed effort, PDAA aims to continue fostering archery excellence and providing young archers with a platform to compete at higher levels.
