Eight clubs will play for the PDFL 2022 trophy under the theme ‘Rise as One, Win as All’, it was revealed at the pre-launch party of the Peren District Football League (PDFL). The programme was held on 10 September 2022 at indoor stadium, Peren Town in commemoration of the 75th Year Anniversary of Peren Township.

Er Tsiamchi Ndang, Executive Engineer, Power Department, Peren Division was the special guest of the event. Ndang unveiled the theme, logo and the PDFL 2022 Champion Trophy at the pre-launch.

Namnahei Nza, President, Peren District Music Society, released the anthem, and the season tickets by Seyievilie Pfukri, EAC, Peren and Er Asembe Mbung, SDO, PWD (R&B) & Peren District Sports Council Member.

Er Ichirang, Executive Engineer, PHED revealed the official ball, while the PDFA Cup 2022 Winner Trophy was unveiled by Keyirangding Hegui, ADC Peren.

At the pre-launch, the participating clubs were introduced, and the club jerseys were unveiled by the club promoters at the event. The eight clubs participating in the first season of PDFL are Barak Football Academy, Native Feathers FC, Benreu FC, Northern Zeme Sports Association, Nsong Area Sports Association, Prime FC, Puiteing FC and Lekie Mtei FC.
