Peren bids farewell to outgoing DC

A farewell programme in honour of Vineet Kumar (IAS), outgoing Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman DPDB, Peren, was organised at DC’s Conference Hall, Peren on July 26, 2024, informed DIPR.

Vineet Kumar, outgoing DC, in his speech expressed gratitude for the love and affection he received from the people of Peren District and also shared the journey that he had experienced during his tenure as DC.

Kumar, while commending the Administrative Officers, HODs and CSOs of Peren District for their exceptional support and cooperation mentioned that the district saw various developments and was able to address some major challenging issues during his stay in the district and encouraged them to maintain the same relation with the new DC.

Hiazu Meru, the new Deputy Commissioner in his speech appealed all the HODs, Tribal Hobos & Civil Societies to extend fullest support and cooperation towards him as well as the District Administration so that the purpose and vision of the government is implemented. He also lauded the outgoing DC for his immense contribution for the development of Peren District and further extended his best wishes as he embarks on his new assignment.

Short speeches from various Civil Society Organisation leaders, Administrative Officers, HODs, DC Staff and well-wishers also spoke during the farewell program.

The programme concluded with vote of thanks by the function chairperson, Pauding Disuang, EAC, Peren.
