The new office bearers of Peren District Congress Committee (DCC) were elected on 3rd November 2023, the Communications Department of Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee informed on Friday.

NPCC said that the office bearers were elected “unanimously” at the Peren DCC General Meeting at Samziuram, Jalukie where party workers and leaders from the DCC and Assembly Congress Committees (ACCs) deliberated on various issues aimed at strengthening the party in the district during the meeting. Rosy Thomson, General Secretary, NPCC and Aluibe Iheilung, Secretary, NPCC were present at the meeting.

The newly elected members of Peren DCC are-

1. Thanghao Lenthang: Vice President

2. Junang Chawang: Vice President

3. Insuigong Hemang: Vice President

4. Seikholun Khongsai: General Secretary

5. Paukensongwibo: Secretary

6. Izwagong Samding: Joint Secretary

7. Paulungku: Treasurer

8. Lungdiak Chawang: Executive Member

9. Igamchu: Advisor
