Deputy Commissioner Peren, Hiazu Meru, convened a meeting at his office chamber on November 4 to discuss arrangements for the successful conduct of the nationwide Digital Life Certificate (DLC) Campaign 5, scheduled from November 1 to 30, 2026.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Medical Officer, Treasury Officer, District Public Relations Officer, President of the Peren District Pensioners’ Association and Aadhaar Operator, Jalukie.

During the meeting, it was informed that out of 1,000 pensioners in Peren district, 600 had completed the digitisation process, while the remaining 400 were yet to do so.

In this regard, the Deputy Commissioner directed the Treasury Officer to prepare, at the earliest, a list of the 400 pensioners, along with details of the reasons and discrepancies hindering their digitisation, to facilitate necessary assistance.

To assist pensioners who are yet to complete the process, special camps will be organised at the ADC offices in Jalukie and Peren during the campaign period. The camps will operate on every working day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Besides facilitating the generation of Digital Life Certificates, the camps will also provide Aadhaar services on the spot and organise free medical camps.

The Deputy Commissioner urged officials to depute staff from their respective departments to assist pensioners and ensure proper cooperation and coordination for the successful conduct of the campaign.

He also requested the President of the Peren District Pensioners’ Association to disseminate information among its unit members and encourage all eligible pensioners to avail themselves of the facilities and complete their Digital Life Certificate submission within the campaign period.
