The Association of Kohima Municipal Ward Panchayats (AKMWP) has expressed gratitude to the Power Department for having erected 4(four) Electric Poles, with street light at AKMWP Park (Box Cutting area).

“The need for electrification in this particular area was long sought for, for years, because of anti-social and criminal activities that has happened in the recent past. So today, it is a dream come true with the electric LT Line to the AKMWP Park. And this was made possible with the sincere effort of Er. Shilu, EE(Power), Kohima Division, and the blessings of Power Department of Nagaland,” stated the Association.

This electrification, according to the AKMWP, will definitely serve to deter anti-social activities to certain extend in the particular area.
