Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a telephone call on September 29 from the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, informed the Prime Minister’s Office.
PM Netanyahu briefed PM on the recent developments in West Asia. Mentioning that there is no place for terrorism in any form or manifestation, Prime Minister Modi also emphasized the crucial need to work for preventing regional escalation and the safe release of all hostages.
PM conveyed that India stands ready to support an early restoration of peace and stability.
The two leaders discussed a number of bilateral issues to further strengthen India-Israel Strategic Partnership. PM also conveyed his best wishes to PM Netanyahu and the Jewish people around the world on the occasion of Rosh Hashanah.
The two leaders agreed to remain in touch.

In a post on social media platform X, Prime Minister Modi said, “Spoke to Prime Minister @netanyahu about recent developments in West Asia. Terrorism has no place in our world. It is crucial to prevent regional escalation and ensure the safe release of all hostages. India is committed to supporting efforts for an early restoration of peace and stability.”
