United Football Club Piphema today lost to Red Scars Football Club against a score of 3-1 in the last semi final match of the ongoing 23rd NSF Martyrs’ Memorial trophy.
Red Scars FC will face Liangmai FC for the final match which will be held October 14.
The first goal in favour of Red Scars FC was netted by Yhunshalo Kemp(9) in the 14th minute. Kekrusezo Kimho (10) equalised the score in the 45th minute. The second and third goal for Red Scars were scored by Ghuphe Chishi(77) and Asito Krose(8) in the 65 and 90+5 minutes.

Meanwhile, Hekato was cautioned a yellow card for unsportsmanlike conduct.
The man of the match was awarded to Vikethozo(4) of Red Scars FC and the award was handed over by L. Dikho, MLA Govt. Of Manipur who was also the match patron for the last Semi final match held on October 12.
Red Scars FC will face Liangmai FC in the final on the October 14 at IG Stadium, Kohima.
