Following consultation and the necessary assessment, the ZTDA safely released the rescued Slow Loris into its natural habitat at the Sukhai Biodiversity Conservation Area, ensuring the animal’s welfare while contributing to ongoing wildlife conservation efforts in the district.

The Zunheboto District Tourism Association expressed its sincere appreciation to Nihoto K Yepthomi and the people of Sukhalu Village for their responsible action and commitment to protecting wildlife. The Association also emphasized the importance of community participation in conserving the region’s rich biodiversity.

ZTDA encouraged the public to report any sightings of injured, distressed, or displaced wildlife to the appropriate authorities or conservation organizations rather than attempting to keep wild animals as pets.
