BY | Monday, 7 August, 2023

The Deputy Commissioner of Kohima, Shanavas C IAS, has issued a restriction order declaring the premises of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office a “No Parking Zone.” The aim is to streamline vehicle parking within the compound. To facilitate this, car passes will be issued to bonafide government employees working in the associated offices. Entry of vehicles without a Car Pass will be restricted between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM on working days, effective immediately. The measure is intended to curb the growing number of parked vehicles within the DC Office compound and encourage government employees to carpool, reducing traffic congestion and parking issues.
