The road stretch from Medical College Junction to BSF Camp Road Junction will remain closed to all vehicular traffic from October 23 to November 20, in view of the ongoing concrete pavement construction work.

According to an order issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, B Henok Buchem, NCS, the closure has been necessitated in the interest of public safety, and to ensure timely completion of the construction project.

During the closure period, all heavy, light and medium vehicles will be diverted via NH-29 through Tinpatti–Don Bosco–Kiyake/BSF Camp. However, light and medium vehicles belonging to local residents of the affected area will be permitted to use the closed stretch. Such traffic will be regulated and monitored by the project site crew.

The general public and commuters have been requested to extend their cooperation and bear with the inconvenience during the construction period.
