Ruopfuzhano Whiso crowned 4th Runner-Up of Miss Universe India 2024

Jaipur: Rhea Singha of Gujarat crowned Miss Universe India 2024

Nagaland’s Ruopfuzhano Whiso was crowned Fourth Runner-Up of the Miss Universe India 2024 during the glitzy finale held at the Zee Studios in Jaipur, Rajasthan on Sunday evening. The pageant was the first to be organised by Glamanand Group which will now select India’s official representative to the Miss Universe.

24-year-old Ruopfuzhano Whiso came fifth from among the 51 contestants selected from across the country for the prestigious title. She was earlier crowned Miss Kohima 2017, First Runner-Up Miss Nagaland 2017 and Femina Miss India Nagaland 2018.

Whiso was selected to represent the State in the Miss Universe India 2024 through an open audition held in early July.

19-year-old Rhea Singha from Gujarat was crowned Miss Universe India 2024 and will represent India at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant to be held on 16th November 2024 in Mexico. Singha had also won the Miss Glamorous subtitle award during the competition.

Meanwhile, Pranjal Priya from Maharashtra was crowned First Runner-Up. NRI Chhavi Verg from New Jersey, USA and West Bengal’s Sushmita Roy were crowned Second and Third Runner-Up respectively.
