The Sub-Divisional Officer (E), Electrical Sub-Division, Longleng, has informed the public of Longleng that the newly constructed 33kV Sub-Transmission line, spanning Agri Ward, PPC Ward, Bahok Ward, Hukphang Village and Pongo Village will undergo test charging on 16th December 2024 (Monday). Following the test, the line will remain in an idle charge state, Er. Moichung Shembu Phom stated in the press release.

Therefore, the residents have been strictly advised to avoid touching or approaching the new 33 kV line. “Anyone who disregards this warning, does so at their own risk,” the SDO (E) stated.
