While chairing a monthly SDPDB meeting of Bhandari sub division held at the conference hall of the Summer House-Cum-Guest House on May 20.

While welcoming the members present the ADC, reviewed the last meeting agendas and apprised the house that restriction imposed on movement of heavy vehicles along the Foothill Road under Bhandari sub-division has been successful and will be extended by another ten days to enable smooth construction work.

Er Mhaden Murry, JE Power, Bhandari informed that phase wise installation of smart meter postpaid has started which will cover government offices, and quarters in the first phase followed by industries & commerce in the second phase, domestic installation will be initiated after public sensitization.

Speaking on the upcoming census exercise, slated from the month of July 2026 till February 2027, the ADC asked the officers to be prepared to fully cooperate and participate in different roles to achieve accurate data on household listing and demographic reporting in both first and second phases of the exercise.
