Seizures by enforcement agencies swell to Rs 31,57,89,902

The office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland informed today that the monetary value of the progressive seizure made by various enforcement agencies, both Central and State, from the date of announcement till 8 February 2023 is Rs 31,57,89,902.

In a press release, the CEO office provided the details of the various items seized during the progressive seizure.

  1. Cash – Rs 1,64,62,850
  2. IMLF (40925.65 Litres) – Rs 4,73,50,281
  3. Drugs/Narcotics (3.06kg) – Rs 23,33,61,339
  4. Freebies/other items – Rs 1,86,15,432

The release further stated that the following seizures were made on 8 February:

Cash – Rs 3,19,000; liquor (576.09 ltrs) worth Rs 2,05,932; drugs/narcotics worth Rs 92,985; freebies and other items worth Rs Nil.

The total monetary value of the items seized on Wednesday came to Rs 6,17,917.
