The valedictory ceremony of the six-day Hindi Creative Writing Camp, jointly organized by the Department of Hindi, Nagaland University, and the Central Hindi Directorate, Ministry of Education, Government of India, New Delhi, was held on September 5 in the Conference Hall of the Department of Hindi, Nagaland University. The camp was organized with the objective of encouraging creative expression and fostering a spirit of new and innovative writing in Hindi among participants from non Hindi speaking regions.
The valedictory ceremony was compered by Nainung Nonang, a research scholar of Nagaland University, while Ajay Suba delivered the welcome address. Natthulal, Assistant Director, Central Hindi Directorate, New Delhi, shared his experiences and highlighted the achievements of the camp.
Prof Hitendra Kumar Mishra, Director, Central Hindi Directorate, addressed the participants as the Special Guest and shared his valuable insights.
On the occasion, Prof N Venuh, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Kohima Campus, Nagaland University, addressed the gathering as the Chief Guest and expressed his views on the significance of promoting Hindi language and creative writing.

Sarita Yadav, IAS, Secretary, Department of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Nagaland, addressed the participants as the Guest of Honour. The programme was presided over by Dr Munni Chaudhary, Head, Department of Hindi, Nagaland University.
The six-day camp brought together participants from five states, Assam, Tripura, West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland, and introduced them to various dimensions of Hindi writing, creative expression and contemporary creative writing.
The experts emphasized the need to promote the study, writing and creative use of Hindi in non Hindi speaking regions. The sessions provided participants with opportunities to develop their creative writing skills and explore new avenues of expression in Hindi.
At the conclusion of the programme, Dr Brijesh Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Hindi, Nagaland University and Coordinator of the camp, proposed the vote of thanks.
