Students of GHS Dilong take part in exposure visit to adolescent-friendly health clinics in Mokokchung

Mokokchung: Students attend awareness program on adolescents’ health management and menstrual hygiene

As part of the “100 Days Special Awareness Campaign” under SANKALP: HEW, the District Administration and the District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW) – Mission Shakti organized a one-day exposure visit to adolescent-friendly health clinics on 11th September 2024, under the aegis of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Mokokchung.

Thirty students from Government High School, Dilong, Mokokchung were chosen to visit Dr. Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital (IMDH) and Urban Primary Health Care (UPHC), Yimyu as part of an exposure program. A tour guide of all the specialist units at IMDH was provided to the pupils.

Subsequently, the students went to the UPHC Yimyu, for an awareness program on adolescents’ health management and menstrual hygiene. Measurements of each student’s height, weight, and blood group test were also taken.
