In a significant step towards promoting environmental awareness, District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW) Niuland, under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative, organised a visit for students of Government Middle School (GMS) Xelhozhe to the Nagaland Zoological Park on October 24. The educational trip aimed to raise awareness among students about the significance of wildlife conservation and preservation of natural habitats.

The visit provided students with a unique opportunity to observe and learn about various species of animals and birds, and understand the importance of coexisting with nature. The students gained valuable insights into the role of humans in protecting and conserving wildlife, and the impact of human actions on the environment.
