The Sumi Baptist Church Kohima Ministers’ Hill Fellowship observed Mission Sunday on May 4, 2025, with Atoshili Zhimomi as the guest speaker. Zhimomi spoke on four conditions for forgiveness of sin and living a true Christian life: repenting before God, forgiving others, confessing sins, and putting biblical teachings into practice. She highlighted Jesus’ unconditional love and the importance of loving and forgiving one another.

Zhimomi stressed that believers must go beyond ordinary Christian living and actively apply biblical teachings in their daily lives to receive God’s forgiveness and rewards. She encouraged the congregation to serve God in diverse capacities, whether through prayer, financial support, or visiting those in need.

Sharing her personal experience, Zhimomi recounted how God’s intervention brought unexpected blessings to her family when she was involved in ministry work. She reassured the congregation that God is always present, even in uncertainty, and that supporting His work will never be fruitless.

Zhimomi’s sermon inspired the congregation to deepen their faith and commitment to Christ, living authentically as followers of Jesus. Her message served as a reminder of the importance of forgiveness, service, and devotion to God, encouraging believers to honor Him in every aspect of their lives.
