The Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign took place today at Police Point, Kiphire. Organised by the District Election Office, the campaign was held in collaboration with the KTBL worship team.

The main aim of the campaign is to educate the public about the value of clean election and new young age voters.

The program was chaired by Mr Bisalee Thonger, Assistant Election Officer (AEO) Kiphire. An invocation was led by Dr Apise, USBLA secretary and a short speech delivered by Ms Chubamongla Kichu, EAC Kiphire HQ.

Thonger provided information on educating Young Electors who would be reaching the eligible voter age and playing a role in bringing change to society and the government through their vote.

The KTBL worship team presented worship songs along with two of their own original songs on the Clean Election theme which were titled ‘Zinda thakya homoite hoilebi’ and ‘Kiman bi dam ase ekta vote’.
