An inter-college speech competition under SVEEP Campaign with the theme “No Voter to be Left Behind” was organised by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer, Kohima District on Tuesday at DPDB Hall Kohima, a DIPR report stated.

Addressing the Students, DC and DEO Kohima, Shanavas C, IAS thanked the participants for their active participation and cooperation and encouraged them to exercise their votes in order to have the right leaders elected for a better future.

Wangshei Konyak from Kros College bagged the first position while Diezenuo Chuzho from Baptist College and Hyulo Tsela from Kohima College bagged the Second position. The event was chaired by Sangmou Khiamniungan, EAC(P), and a vote of thanks was pronounced by Limakumla Pongener EAC, Kohima.

The panel of judges for the event were Assistant Prof. Lemchangpila Sangtam from Kros College; Assistant Prof. Dr. Sentinaro from Baptist College and Assistant Prof. Ase Yalie, Kohima College.
