Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Mon, Wennyei Konyak, NCS graced the SVEEP Special Awareness Programme on Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls 2026, as a special Guest at DC’s Conference Hall, Mon on August 4.
Addressing the citizen that SVEEP Campaign is to clean and make a healthy Electoral Rolls, he urged the people to learn from awareness program and try to educate oneself, family and friends to make a healthy Electoral Rolls. He also encouraged the gathering, to be a responsible in cleaning the Electoral Rolls for free and fair elections in the future.
Lungkube, AEO Mon gave a brief introduction on Special Intensive Revision (SIR) and initiated the voter’s Pledge. While delivering the Welcome address ADC & SVEEP Nodal Officer, PaKon Phom, NCS, stated that for clean, free and fair election, it is necessary to clean the Electoral Rolls.

The program was chaired by Samuel Konyak, LDA, DC’s office, Mon. A Special presentation was made by Keiom, Social Welfare Department, Mon, while the vote of thanks was proposed by Winsha Konyak, HA (Sr), AEO office, Mon. SVEEP Pamphlets were also distribution during the program.
The main objective of the program is to disseminate Awareness on the importance of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls.
