The day-4 of the “Swachh Gaon, Surakshit Jalvayu” campaign under the initiative of the Ministry of Jal Shakti, GOI, the Village Council and WATSAN Committees under Niuland and Chumoukedima District organised ‘Awareness Generation, Plantation & Cleanliness Drives’ at Luhevi Village and Vikheto Village under Niuland District and Pherima B Village, Murise Village and Tsithrongse village under Chumoukedima district on June 4.

The campaign activities include cleaning up water supply infrastructures, roads, grounds, foot paths, etc. The community came together to ensure visual cleaning in their respective villages with the spirit of Jan Bhagidari.
