As part of Swachhata Hi Seva 2024, a cleanliness drive was conducted at Kisama Naga Heritage Village today. The Campaign was organised by PHED, Kohima Rural/Urban Division, Joint collaboration with Phesama Village Council and Kigwema Village Council.
In his keynote address, Principal Secretary, PHED, E. Mhonbemo Patton, IAS highlighted the importance and objectives of the campaign and said that some selected areas were given special attention to, one of which is Kisama.
He also acknowledged Phesama and Kigwema villages for cooperation, support and said that he looks forward for active participation till the Hornbill Festival.
A Swachhata Pledge was initiated by Lhousikhono Zinyü while Mass Shramdaan (segregation of plastic wastes) by volunteers. Vote of thanks was pronounced by Chairman Village Council, Phesama, Bizo. M. The program was conducted by IEC & WASH Consultant PHED Kohima, Urban Division, Vibou Seyie.
