The Entrepreneurs Associates (tEA) organised a felicitation ceremony for Thejazenuo Angami, who secured the 9th Position in the recently declared Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) exam results from Modern Higher Secondary School. The ceremony was held at The Entrepreneurs Associates, Head Office, Kohima, on May 15.
“Thejazenuo’s mother, Peteneinuo Angami, was a former street vendor who operates a Galho Shop located at the Sokhriezie Building. She is a beneficiary of tEA’s Financial linkages and support, benefiting from the Zero-Interest Loans. As one of its beneficiaries, tEA took the initiative to honour her daughter’s achievement through the felicitation ceremony,” informed a press release by tEA.
The program was chaired by Chunjanglu Gracy, tEA’s Operations Supervisor, followed by an exhortation and felicitation by Neikule Doulo, the Executive Director of tEA. “tEA was founded to create wealth and opportunities for our people. Twenty-four years later, I am happy to witness the tangible results through the lives of Peteneinuo and her daughter. It fills me with joy to know about Thejazenuo’s achievements, which not only bring honour to her mother but also reflect the dedication and hard work invested in her upbringing,” said Doulo.
Thejazenuo was presented with a monetary award and a gift hamper to aid her ongoing educational pursuits, ensuring she possesses the essential resources to advance further in her academic journey. During her speech, she conveyed her heartfelt appreciation to her widowed mother, who unilaterally raised her and provided her with a better quality of life. Additionally, she expressed gratitude to The Entrepreneurs Associates for orchestrating this initiative and acknowledging her accomplishments. “tEA has always been an organisation that has stood with me and my mother during our good times and even during our bad times,” she stated. Additionally, she announced her enrolment at St. Joseph’s College, Jakhama, where she will embark on her journey towards earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, with aspirations of pursuing a career as a Chartered Accountant down the road.

Peteneinuo, a longstanding beneficiary of tEA, graciously addressed the audience, expressing her heartfelt gratitude to the organisation for their unwavering support and for embracing them as part of their extended family. The proud mother shared that during the pandemic and even when her shop got gutted in the Mao Market fire, tEA was there to support her. She remarked, “God’s plans are always better and higher than ours. Despite my struggles, I had faith in him and today, I am basking in his blessings. I am blessed to have such an understanding daughter like Theja, and I am so proud of her.”
The program concluded with a collective prayer, uniting all present in reverence and gratitude.
