Tejo Society, in partnership with Nune’s Construction, hosted a free training session on baking, painting and putty on Saturday at Imagi.Land, Kisama.

During his brief address, Project Director, TAFMA, Hovithal Sothu commended dynamic young entrepreneur Nunese Sale for launching his own construction business at such an early age. He praised Nunese’s dedication to empowering the next generation through these valuable training opportunities.

Sothu urged the attending youth to take this training seriously, as it signifies the start of their professional journeys. He stressed the growing competitiveness of the job market, noting that many graduates and educated young people face unemployment. To achieve success, he encouraged them to work hard and pursue their true passions.

Pointing out that no wealthy individual started at the top, they all began small and persevered, Sothu encouraged the audience to put forth their best efforts, as a lack of commitment will make it difficult to thrive in today’s world.

Founded in 2018 by 26-year-old Sale, Nune’s Construction was launched during his third year of college. In addition to his business pursuits, Nunese was an active student leader, social worker, and president of the Vision Trinity Club at Sari Educational Foundation. He earned the National Award 2021 for Inspirational Men in the social service category.

Atho Sothu, Assistant Pastor of Lerie Baptist Church, opened the program with an invocation.

The program was followed by training on painting, use of putty and baking.
