Thejao Vihienuo from the Northern Angami region was inducted as the new President of Angami Public Organisation (APO), the apex body of the Angami community. The induction of new executives was held on August 1 at Kisama where the APO’s general meeting was also held.

In a post on social media platform X, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio congratulated the new team.

“Attended APO’s general meeting and induction of new executives. Congratulations and best wishes to the new President and his team. I urge them to be guardians of our tradition, in which lies the strength of our community, and to raise exemplary leaders for the Nagas in general,” stated Rio.
