In view of the General Election to the 18th Lok Sabha 2024, Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer, Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji has informed that the third phase training of all polling personnel has been scheduled on 15 April 2024.

It was informed that the training for Presiding Officer (both male and female) would be conducted from 9:30 AM and training for first Polling Officers (both male and female) would started from 12:00 Noon, at Mayangnokcha GHSS, Mokokchung. Second Polling Officers (both male and female) will start from 1:00 PM and third Polling Officers (both male and female) will be started from 2:00 PM at Mayangnokcha GHSS, Mokokchung.

It further informed that all the concerned departmental Nodal Officers have been directed to inform all requisitioned officials of their respective departments regarding the aforementioned training schedule.

Strict action shall be initiated against absentees as per Section 134 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951.
