The Toys and Naga Tribal Jewellery Cluster conducted an exposure visit on 3rd September 2024, involving 10 Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) artisans. The artisans were accompanied by the Implementing Agency (IA), Mind Blowers Club (MBC), and the Cluster Development Executive (CDE) as they visited the Nagaland Tool Room and Training Centre in Dimapur. The group also explored the Art Fest at the old SM College building and the Zaben Murry Design Store.

The primary objective of the visit was to provide rural artisans and entrepreneurs with exposure to various aspects of ideas and to develop skills with other organisations. The exposure aimed to enhance their understanding and capabilities in promoting their products in different ways.

During the visit, the SPV members engaged in meaningful interactions with trainers, talented Artisans and workers, exchanging ideas and experiences that are vital for their growth in the field. They observed various marketing strategies, both for handmade and machine-made products, and explored potential business opportunities, linkages regardless of the scale of their operations.

Reflecting on the experience, the SPV members gained valuable insights into market dynamics, the importance of networking, and building strong business linkages. They appreciated the opportunity to witness firsthand the operations of other artisans and entrepreneurs, which inspired them to explore innovative approaches in their crafts and businesses.
