A three-day extensive and elaborate training sessions for Census 2027 got started for Bhandari sub-division at the EBRC conference hall, Bhandari, Wokha on June 16.

Census officers, supervisors and enumerators from Bhandari town, Baghty, Champang and Bhandari areas headed by the respective charge officers are enrolled for the trainings.

Speaking at the Program, ADC & Bhandari Town Charge Officer, Longasen Lotha, NCS, urged the officials undergoing training to participate in the national census exercises with a sense of honour and privilege to be a part of the nation’s progressive step towards digital future and to carry the responsibilities with utmost sincerity.

Nyanthung N.Rangthang, GT, GHSS, Binod Pariyar GT, GHSS Bhandari, and Lichanbemo N.Odyuo GT, GHSS Bhandari were the field trainers. They informed that during the period from July 1 to 16, House Listing exercise will be conducted to create a complete list of all households with physical structures to ensure that no family or dwelling place is left out.

They further noted that from July 17 to 30, systematic process of population enumeration will be carried out for collecting, compiling and recording of accurate demographic Census in their given areas.

On the first day of the training, 12 enumerators and 3 supervisors under Bhandari town attended the training. The training program was organised by the district administration, Bhandari.
