A State-level Training for Crèche Workers under Palna – Anganwadi-Cum-Crèche (AWCC) was organized by Mission Shakti Nagaland, Department of Social Welfare from May 20 to 22 at the Anganwadi Training Centre (AWTC), Diphupar A, Chumoukedima.

In her Keynote Address, the Secretary, Social Welfare Department, Government of Nagaland & Mission Director, Mission Shakti, Yongchingkumla, highlighted that with the expansion of Palna centres in the state, more women in both organized as well as unorganized sectors should benefit from it.

Director, Social Welfare Department, Tosheli Zhimomi in her Introductory Remark, encouraged the crèche workers to serve dedicatedly on the ground, and to make the utmost use of the training programme, and ensure that a safe and secure environment is provided for children at the crèche facility.

The inaugural programme was chaired by Asangla Jamir, Assistant Director, Social Welfare. The Course Directors for the training program were Unice, CDPO & Limasangla, CDPO.
