Training on Census for District Level Charge Officers and introduction of Census 2027 methods process and rule of key stakeholders training was conducted at DC’s Conference Hall, New Peren Headquarter on April 21.
Deputy Director, Census Department Government of India, Vikishe Chishi highlighted the role of Census functionaries, legal provisions, and fund management and publicity activities related to training of Census 2027 through PowerPoint presentation.
The Deputy Director also highlighted the objective and the most credible source of information on demography and other socio-cultural demography data. He further stated that the Census of India 2027 will begin with house listing, housing census population enumeration, during which census data collection by Mobile application Census 2027 HLO will be done.
He also said the mobile App is compatible with smartphones of both Android & IOS as the enumerator provide fetching facilities of self- enumerate house census records which can be edited as and when needed. He further stated the role of the Enumerators during their door-to-door visit in identifying the households.

He also highlighted about honorarium & awards of the Enumerators and Supervisors who are engaged in the census work as per provision given by the Government of India.
Earlier, the Deputy Commissioner Peren, Hiazu Meru welcomed all the officers who attended the training and encouraged them to know more about Census and perform their assign duties diligently.
The census team comprises of Deputy Director Census Office, Vikishe Chishi; Statistical Investigator, Imtimendang and Statistical Investigator, K Mahesh imparted the knowledge of Census Policy and its objectives during the training.
