Training on skill development programme held at Peren Town

Tening: The programme was organised by the Department of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship with Zynorique Initiative Society as the training partner

In commemorating the 75th Anniversary of Peren Township, a demand on driven skill development programme on tiling, plumbing and masonry for the youth of Nagaland in construction sector was conducted at Peren Town Hall on 22 August 2022. The programme was graced by Dy Director, Department of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Er Alongse Sangtam and Chairman Zynorique Initiative Society, Ar Richard Belho.

Dy Director, Er Alongse Sangtam briefing the participants encouraged them to focus on achieving the required skills and take ownerships to uplift local economy through their learning skills. Sangtam also highlighted on various schemes and training imparting in district levels and encouraged the gathering to take the opportunities for the benefits of all. Skills building could also be seen as an instrument to empower the individual and improve social acceptance, he added.

Chairman Zynorique Initiative Society, Ar Richard Belho also spoke on the importance of skill training for educated and unemployed youth of Nagaland. Belho said that with skill development, people can work effectively and achieve success in whatever they do. He added that skill development programs are helping the youths to understand the prospectus of skill training initiative and to help them to achieve more targets.

Altogether, 43 youths from all the wards of Peren Town participated in the programme. The training program will culminate on 27 August 2022.

The moderator of the formal programme was President PTYO, Ngautube R.Chamlak while ADC & Administrator, PTC Keyirangding Hegui, NCS gave the concluding remarks.
