The monthly meeting of the Tseminyu District Planning & Development Board was held in the Conference Hall of the DC Tseminyu on July 17. The meeting was chaired by MLA & Chairman DPDB Tseminyu, Ar Jwenga Seb.
Addressing the members, the chairman welcomed and thanked the board members for their cooperation and support in carrying out the district’s development activities. After reviewing the previous meeting minutes, the board deliberated on the agenda proposed by Superintendent of Police Tseminyu, Talisunep Imchen for upgradation of the Police strength under DEF, Tseminyu.
The SP apprised the members that Tseminyu being a New District requires more police force for both Men and women for smooth functioning of the district. In this regard, the house approved the proposal to the government for further necessary action.

The DPDB chairman read out the various schemes and projects proposed under the Local Area Development Programme (LADP) 2026-2027. After which the board deliberated on the proposed schemes and approved it. The rural development department presented their departmental activities through PowerPoint presentations.
