The monthly meeting of the District Planning & Development Board (DPDB), Tseminyu was held at DC’s conference hall, Tseminyu on September 25, under the chairmanship of MLA & Chairman, DPDB, Tseminyu, Ar Jwenga Seb.

Addressing the meeting the Chairman called upon all district officers to remain sincere and committed to their duties and discharge their responsibilities effectively for the welfare of the people.

After the review of the previous meeting minutes, the house discussed the proposal for construction of a District Sports Office and a Residential Quarter at Tseminyu. After deliberation on the urgent needs in the district, the board agreed to forward it to the government for consideration and approval.

The PHED and Power department was also apprised to take up the proposal plan for water supply and power requirements in the proposed office and quarter. The house further discussed the proposed visit of the Governor to Tseminyu on September 30. The members also deliberated on the launching of Reform Utsav scheduled to be held on October 1.

The Labour Department presented detailed activities and programme held in Tseminyu District through PowerPoint presentation, was followed by lively discussion with the members.
