The Sub-Treasury Officer, Tseminyu, has informed pensioners that the Annual Physical Verification for 2026 will be conducted primarily through the Digital Life Certificate (DLC) system using the Jeevan Pramaan application with Aadhaar-based face authentication or biometric verification.

Pensioners have been advised to submit their DLC online on or before October 16, 2026. Those who successfully submit the certificate digitally will be exempted from visiting the Sub-Treasury for physical verification.

The Sub-Treasury has cautioned pensioners to ensure that their Aadhaar details, particularly their name and date of birth, match the details recorded in their Pension Payment Order (PPO). A DLC may be rejected at the Treasury level if discrepancies exist between Aadhaar and PPO records, even after successful biometric authentication.

A dedicated DLC Helpdesk has also been established at the Sub-Treasury to assist pensioners facing technical difficulties with smartphone registration, biometric authentication or digital submission. Assistance will be available during office hours.

Physical verification will be conducted only as an exception for pensioners genuinely unable to submit their DLC due to data mismatch or physical constraints, and will not follow the earlier fixed schedule based on Pension File Numbers.

Pensioners seeking physical verification must provide a valid reason for non-submission of the DLC and produce their PPO Book, duly attested Life Certificate Form and valid Pensioners’ Association ID card. Exception cases will be handled from October 12 to 16, 2026, during office hours.

For pensioners aged 80 years and above who are unable to submit DLC, as well as those incapacitated due to illness or infirmity, Treasury officials will undertake door-to-door verification. Such pensioners must provide their residential address and contact numbers to the Sub-Treasury.

The Sub-Treasury urged all pensioners to complete the digital submission at the earliest to avoid last-minute difficulties. It warned that pension disbursement for October 2026 will be withheld if a pensioner fails to complete either DLC submission or the required physical verification by the stipulated deadline.
