Tuensang DC informs on land acquisition in district

Tuensang: Any claim or objection to must be submitted to DC Office within 10 days

The Deputy Commissioner of Tuensang District has informed the general public that “the land from Km 39 to 106.650 Km & from 118Km 120 Km on NH-202 under Tuensang District is required for acquisition for widening of existing single lane road to two lane with paved shoulder.”

In this regard, the DC has notified any person/party who have any claim and objection over the said area to submit its claim or objection to the Office of the DC, Tuensang within 10 (Ten) days from 3rd August 2024.

“Now therefore, in exercise of the power conferred under Section 9 (2) of the Nagaland Land Acquisition Act 1965, Acquisition Act 1884, 1 Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa, NCS, Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang Nagaland duly authorized by the State Government as Competent Authority do hereby notify that if any person/party have any claim and objection over the said area, the same may be submitted to this office within a period of 10 (Ten) days w.e.f. the date of this notification”, it stated.
