The District Planning & Development Board (DPDB), Tuensang held its monthly meeting under the Chairmanship of MLA & Chairman DPDB, Imtichoba and co-chaired by DC Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa, NCS on July 15 at DC’s Conference Hall, Tuensang.

After reviewing the previous meeting minutes, the board discussed on the deplorable Road condition of NH 202 and Tuensang – Longleng Road which was brought up by the Chairman of the House. After reviewing and deliberation on the issue, the board directed the concerned Department to look into the matter at the earliest possible time.

The meeting also discussed and approved the LADP Scheme for the financial year 2026-27 for 51 Noksen A/C, 52 Longkhim-Chare A/C, 53 Tuensang Sadar-I and 54 Tuensang Sadar-II A/C. Exhorting the members, the Chairman appealed the HoDs to discharge their official duties and responsibilities with utmost sincerity for the upliftment of the people in the district.

The house also discussed the work distribution for the forthcoming Independence Day Celebration at the District and decided to organise a Mass Social Work on August 1, 2026 in the town. The Deputy Commissioner informed the members and to submit the Name of employees under their respective department for District Commendation Awards if any by 30th of July 2026.
